[ weird to klaus, maybe. but okay, that's fair. it's not a pleasant feeling.
five almost expected there to have been more resistance when he told klaus to stay the night, but that's probably more about himself than klaus, honestly. five would have put up a fight. he wouldn't have just accepted it and would have decided he was fine on his own. but, klaus is not five. five had been ready to argue with klaus about staying here, but it's all unnecessary.
which is good. he just doesn't have it in him to argue with klaus right now.
honestly, five has no idea what he can do about this. that's the problem. it's making him feel anxious and irritated. if ghosts try to hurt klaus or try to take him or anything like that, what does five expect he can do about it?
his brows furrow and he tips his head to one side a little when klaus mentions salt and sage because- ]
Do you have any idea if that stuff even works? I always thought that was just bullshit made up by the people who only thought they were seeing ghosts.
[ even still, five blinks away without warning (is there ever a warning?). it can't be any more than two or so minutes that pass before he's standing in front of klaus again, holding out a container of salt to his brother ]
Here. This is the only salt that I could find. [ the only salt that he found on his quick search anyway. a more thorough search would have taken too long. which is also the reason why there's only salt and no sage. telling klaus to stay and then immediately leaving him (while sadly, a very five thing to do) is not what he's particularly interested in doing right now ]
