Jon looks over at Waverly when she walks over his way. Despite his sulking, he is grateful to see a friendly, familiar face even if he hates she also had to be forced in a costume related to her own life (or so he assumes she was also forced). It's ultimately why the compliment takes him by surprise.
"I... didn't want to wear it." He does reach for one of the cookies. It's nothing eh has ever tried before, but it does remind him of the pastries that were often made through Westeros. All the food here is far better than it has any right to be. They're in a corner mostly by themselves, which is the only reason he asks what he does next. He wouldn't mention it where others could hear. "Didn't the demons force you too? Put you in an angel costume, because you're half angel."
