Homelander doesn't even bother rolling his eyes. There's hardly any conviction in her voice, only childish stubbornness that isn't worth his time. She's free to cling to her mindless fairy tale, if that's what she wants.
"You're right. This is hell, and you've been damned for all of eternity." He smiles at her, falsely pleasant and endlessly condescending. "Enjoy your stay."
He starts to walk past her, stopping once his shoulder is nearly brushing hers.
"Oh, and, I forgot to mention-- your boyfriend's here. Hughie What's-his-face. You two lovebirds get to catch up yet?"
