Food had, for the most part, always been safe when presented like this, at least. He couldn't say the same for candies or drinks handed out by the demons at parties, but food more or less seemed safe to consume. Didn't mean that something couldn't pop up, but fighting with some extra calories to burn was never a bad thing.

He laughed as he speared a bit of fruit on his plate. "Oh don't say that. The ridiculous endeavors are what make my job fun."
