"No, no, I definitely agree with that." It's getting easier to put one foot in front of the other but this is one instance where Annie's okay admitting her own limitations. Some of the nausea's subsided, but she can still feel the occasional lurch in her stomach and the faint remnants of little birds circling her head. She's not about to go out drinking -- or even entertain the idea of going to a bar -- right now.

It's a good place to keep in mind, though. Because Club Penance certainly isn't somewhere she has on her list to revisit. And her tiny room in the hotel will make her stir-crazy sooner rather than later.

"You won't get any argument from me. But once I sleep this off, I'll have to stop by." An undrugged beer and something laid back actually sounds divine. Bonus points if no one's ripping at anyone's clothing.
