Some of the nausea's subsided, but she can still feel the occasional lurch in her stomach and the faint remnants of little birds circling her head. She's not about to go out drinking -- or even entertain the idea of going to a bar -- right now.
It's a good place to keep in mind, though. Because Club Penance certainly isn't somewhere she has on her list to revisit. And her tiny room in the hotel will make her stir-crazy sooner rather than later.
