Jon steps out into the cold alongside her. He doesn't feel it like she might. There's a relief to stand in something that feels more familiar, far away from the wild party inside. There's a relief to being here with her like he can somehow breathe easier the instant that they find themselves in this more private place together.
He looks over at her at the question, noticing the white puff of air as she speaks. Jon doesn't want her to be cold. That's what he is thinking. Even as she asks, he's moving to remove the coat of furs around him (the same Stark furs that his sister made for him or similar enough to it).
"I've told them. Understanding is somethin' else. I had to leave. No one wanted that," he says, holding the coat out to slide it around her shoulders instead. "Here. 's cold."
