"Five, wai--" He sighs as his brother stubbornly tries to jump them again, and it work about as well as he might have expected it to right now. Stubborn as an ox, that one. Whatever protests Five may have about it be damned, he keeps his grip on him, steady but as gentle as possible, given the injuries.
The time between that and his brother's reluctant acceptance to the help feels excruciatingly long, though it's probably little more than a few minutes at most. "Thank you." he says softly. He gives Five another few minutes to gather himself and then he starts to move. Carefully. Slowly. But it's better than nothing.
"Stop." He begs, holding the word out a little longer than necessary to push the point. "It's not your fault. They did it on pu-purpose. They...w-wanna see us suffer." He's barely keeping himself together, tears streaming steadily down his cheeks, breaths coming in short gasps because he's trying not to sob. He can't do that. He can't go there, until he gets Five back to his room.
