Josie can't help but giggle at his attempt at saying "suck" because it just sounds so strange coming out of his mouth. She tries to smother it soon after because she doesn't want him to think she's laughing at him. It's not slang he was meant to use, but she appreciates the effort.

"Yeah, there are. My sister, a couple friends from school. My friend Hope actually has a lot of her family here. Though ... everyone coming in from different times can make things weird."
