"I would like to join you for tea," Diana accepts, choosing to focus on that over the other details. "If you wish to tell me about our previous conversations, then I would be happy to listen, but I suspect we can find more interesting things to talk about."

Diana offers a slight smile, a little uncertain, but sincere enough. It probably does neither of them any good to dwell on one's future and the other's past.
