Jon doesn't know if it makes it better or worse to be able to trust words from a future that hasn't been lived yet. There's the ability to leave some of the future to doubt when the words cannot be trusted, but he still has so many questions. He's glad at least Josie can have answers, glad Hell didn't tell her in another way. His expression darkens when she speaks, and he nods in understanding, silent for a moment.

"I was told by your aunt: the future you've learned of isn't here, but you are. You can trust yourself."

It helped to hear Elena's words and to be grounded in that truth. She has a way of reaching people with her words.

"You can use what you've learned." He speaks with conviction. "You can wield it and not carry it." Josie hasn't lived it yet, but he understands the wrestling with it all the same (carrying it all the same, knowing it will be lived should she ever return).
