The thing is, if this was Ronan from a little over a year ago, his response would be something along the lines of telling Kavinsky to go fuck himself, choosing a few insults picked especially for the other dreamer, then stalking off or picking a fight. But Ronan's had some time to get.. well, maybe not well, but better, and dating Adam has taught him a little more patience, at least.
So although he flips K off in return--it's reflex, really, no one could expect Ronan Lynch not to--he does none of those other things. Instead, he steps closer, pale eyes roaming over the changes he can see, trying to take them all in.
"I saw Cabeswater on the map," he says instead of responding to the question, a sort of question of his own, even if it doesn't sound like one, "and you've obviously been here a while."
