( she'd noticed the dragons first in the pet shop, had warned a few people away from getting them as pets but in seeing others on the streets? it was dangerous, both for the dragons and those that could attempt to collect one, especially with the rewards going around. how many people really knew about dragons? zelda wasn't an expert but she'd worked in close proximity with one, the bookwyrm was a start and she'd read other details. more than the person that was haphazardly trying to sneak up on one now )
Please don't do that.
( her warning is gentle, a hand outstretched to them )
It wouldn't go well for you.
► THE LIBRARY
( whilst trying to spend time organising the library a little better zelda had also been making a mental note of books that she wanted to look at for potential facts, history-- anything. except her list was ever-growing with the more that she worked in the library.
it's why, later in on of the evenings when zelda assumes that she's alone, at least in a quieter corner, she has a few of the books set aside on one of the tables.not all of them she can understand, some in English, some latin, some in the demonic languages of hell, but for the moment that doesn't matter to zelda -- she can read now and translate later when she's obtained and studied the notes.
she takes them into her hands, one by one, quickly flicking through the books in true librarian fashion, speed reading the whole thing. she takes a moment after each book, particularly those that she can't yet translate to simply process them before putting the book aside, reaching for the next one.
catch her reading? need some help? the library's an oyster )
