"Well, I’m definitely not keeping them, if that’s what you’re asking," she tells him. She thinks they’re cute, but she’s not sure she wants a pet. Certainly she doesn’t want a whole brood of pets. She’s had enough unexpected responsibilities put on her shoulders of late.

"I’ll take them back to the shop. That seems like the safest place for them with all the other...weird creatures lurking around." She’s honestly not sure how to describe some of the things she’s seen. She wasn’t as horrified by them as she could have been, not after facing the volcra in the Fold twice. But they were still unsettling and foreign.
