Maybe it's just the attentiveness in this particular moment, but he thinks he feels something flicker. A sharp sound of air. A sort of hesitance, like he thinks Gabe is about to resist or protest. But then he doesn't. He doesn't want to know anything about Gabe's past (if he can help it) if he's being perfectly honest, but they're still a part of him. Their mark on the man could inevitably crop up quietly once in a while without Henry ever noticing.

But for now, all he notices is Gabe falling back into the deep heady feeling as he accepts him.

Ah, that's what really hits home for him. Gabe wraps around him, urges him, wants him just as much as he does. The implications of what that all means to him would almost be painful if he wasn't so focused on chasing this pleasure.
