"Look, believe whatever you want. If you want to run around howling and yowling at everyone and acting like a two-year-old who can't stop blubbering 'but why!' at everything, be my guest. I'm just not going to stick around for it."
Case in point, he'll just polish off the rest of his beer and be on his way. Or at least that's the plan.
