Now that he's been mentally prepared, not to mention the fact that the new dragon is partially see-through, he doesn't seem to be having such an adverse reaction as before. He does tense momentarily as it comes to life, but it's replaced with giddiness a moment later as he leans in to look at the lizard from different angles and tries to softly poke it, fascinated.

"Iron is stronger than magic," he grumbles, "but it can't project images into thin air. Is it something specific to your realm?"

He hesitates for a moment at the encouragement, then very slowly extends his paw, palm-up. It seems he only has toebeans on the hind legs; front ones look much like hands, huge claws aside.

"Uh... good... holographic lizard?"
