His eyebrows rise slightly at the mention of bandit clans, but really he just looks amused rather than unsettled.
"Sounds like a fun place," he says, only half joking, because while he's not the biggest fan of the idea of tribal bandits consuming the flesh of their enemies, it would also be a welcome respite not to constantly worry about bribing the police or whatever.
He lets his chair drop back on all four legs, resting an elbow on the table and looking just a tad more serious.
"Your choices or lack thereof don't really matter," he explains. "I've seen plenty of people here who haven't even done anything worth jail time. Kinda sucks, but I'm not running the place, so."
He glances at the clock. They've still got a little bit of time, but he'd rather not drag this out more than necessary.
