"I'm glad I found you, too," Inej says softly. Wylan didn't deserve to be here, even if he had been in on some of their crimes since he'd been with the Dregs. None of them deserve to be here. Even for all their sins, this doesn't seem the place to end up.

She nods along. It's probably for the best that Nina and Matthias aren't here, that they moved along to some other, hopefully greener, pastures. If she came here to them, it might have been far too much to handle. The three of them are enough to chew through her.
