"Do I? Maybe it's you that underestimates me Henry. You've never actually seen me angry." He watched the man with narrowed eyes, fighting the urge to knock Henry's hand away and just bolt. Steve continued to sit perfectly still as the man climbed beside him and pressed close, listened as Henry made something like an apology, and thought about what he wanted.
His eyes closed as Henry stroked his hair, some of the tension slowly draining out of him. Steve heaved a deep sigh and relaxed against the booth, opening his eyes only halfway to meet Henry's gaze, "Normally I don't mind the needling. There's just something about a dress . . ." He shook his head a little and shifted uncomfortably, absolutely not wanting to talk about things.
"I like people in dresses, I just don't like to be in them myself. It's not rational." Just because he knew it wasn't rational or logical didn't mean he could fix it though. Steve leaned into Henry's hands with another, gentler sigh, speaking softly, "That's nice. You can keep doing that . . ." His hair really was one of his most erogenous zones. It was an excellent way to calm him down.
