Yami Bakura | Yu-Gi-Oh

1. Stand Your Ground

[It is a sad fact to say that Bakura has seen his fair share of hell. He'd been there and back several times already, although it was usually either a variation of what Ancient Egyptians would consider torment in the Afterlife or -- less fun -- whatever terror the end of Shadow Games held for the losing party.

The worst he's ever endured had been centuries-long isolation, though.

The grabby hands that had brought him here were nothing compared to the endless darkness within the Ring, where you'd start to forgot that you even had a body to begin with bit by bit as time loses all relevance. At the point when he had no longer been able to remember what his own voice had sounded like, he had known that he'd been in deep shit. But he had made it out of it.

Compared to that, a hotel that can't decide whether to be ritzy or some horror movie prop seems like child's play. Which doesn't mean that he is planning to underestimate it. The moment he comes to a pair of doors that could be either an elevator, the doorway to a pair of stairs or a gaping hole to a grisly end, Bakura makes himself comfortable on the floor and waits until somebody else shows up. When they do, he dons his best imitation of his host and smiles sweetly at them.]

I'm new and a bit lost right now, so don't mind me, please! After you~!

2. Reach Up High - Hell Chair / Prompt 1

Seriously? This is boring.

[He sighs. Bakura hasn't moved a muscle and he isn't planning to either. He knows games like this. First you need to assess your situation, then the rules and after that the people you are playing against. Then you double-check, and after that you look for whatever parts you missed. If your opponent makes any mistakes in the meantime, they're already as good as dead.]

3. Reach Up High - Cleaning Crew / Prompt 2

[Fact 1: Nobody ever pays attention to the cleaning crew, especially when they can offer a pleasant smile and unassuming looks.

Fact 2: This 'volunteer' is currently going through the supply crates, helping himself to whatever seems useful while also appearing to do his job.]
