"I found a few mystery novels to tide me over," Annie offers. The idea of him reading to her or telling her stories sounds awesome. She hasn't told him, but she likes being cuddled into him. He smells very good to her.

She wouldn't want to hear about magic. Not while trying to get him to just talk. He might fumble if it's about magic since it's a kind of awkward subject.

"We could tell each other our favorite fairy tales from when we were kids." She smiles brightly. "It's a good way to get to know each other better.... I know you like figuring me out. Like I'm a puzzle."
