"You want to marry me?" Annie is surprised. That is the implication she is getting from him. Annie doesn't say what she is thinking. She knows he has many siblings and thinks his father may have been a bit of a predator. It is hard to tell without more information, but her worries aren't something she will express. L.L has probably given enough thought to his parents.

"I'll be fine, just hold me...." She trails off and gives a laugh. "L.L, you could have just held me closer. I wouldn't have minded sharing body heat."

She pulls him so that she can kiss him. "I love you. I... I kind of feel like even if we had forever, it wouldn't be enough. There's so much I'd love sharing with you."
