His lips twitched but didn't quite manage a smile. Steve continued to stand and watch, not in the mood to disturb the guy if he was happy. It was nice, in a messed-up way. Spending time with someone he cared about period was just nice. His brows went up when Kavinsky finally turned around with a dish of food.

"That looks great." Steve reached for the dish, letting his fingers slide over Kavinsky's with a soft smile, "You're always welcome here Kavinsky. It's nice having you visit."
