"It's the same everywhere, isn't it?" Bum lamented softly, folding his arms in a way that looks more like hugging himself, still staring down. Maybe his hell was never meant to end. He probably deserves it, but it's still disheartening.

At least, here, there's actually a few people who would show him a sliver of sympathy. He makes a little nod of thanks, takes a few deeper breaths and picks up the mop again.

For a bit, he remains quiet, but there's enough thoughts eating at the back of his mind that he can't help but pipe up again soon enough, finally glancing in Suzaku's direction in a decidedly nervous way.
