The problem with carrying a weapon is that every potential situation becomes ten times more dangerous. The only thing that goes fairly unnoticed in this place is a knife, but that takes a hell of a lot of skill to use well. I mean, there are people who could give you lessons, but in the meantime, you're more likely to hurt yourself than someone else. I suppose you don't have powers?
