He smiled when the kid looked up at him, patting that shin lightly, "Good. That's good. It's nice to meet you Setsuna. I'm glad you're not injured. As for where we are . . ."

Now for the hard part. Steve was quiet for a moment, trying to decide the best way to handle things. With a sigh, he decided there was really only one choice, "According to the man supposedly in charge, we're in Hell." He held up a hand, trying to forestall any objections, "However, I don't actually think this is the real Hell. I personally think this is an alternate reality, and that we've all been brought here as entertainment for the beings that made this hotel. Whatever this place is though, it's not safe to sit on the floor. What do you say to standing up?" Steve lifted his hand from Setsuna's leg and offered it.

"Here. Let me help you? We can go back to my suite. I have food there, and stuff to drink. I might even have some cookies if someone didn't eat 'em. I promise it's safe. I'll leave the door open to the hall and we'll stay in the common areas. You can leave at any time. What do you say Setsuna? Think you can make it to your feet?"
