Natasha didn't need to be told that. It's clear enough listening to Clint how he feels about her. He's on her side. His body language, his questions, the tone of his voice all bleed with it.

That makes answering that question hard. She doesn't want to hurt him again.

But her silence and her expression answer the question all on their own. It's not better this way. "I'm not sure what I can say to that. I shouldn't be."
