There's a small flinch when his hand was grabbed but then the boy didn't do anything. Just stood there gripping his hand. Steady and constant. Shion breathed, and again. He knew what he had to do. It was either cause harm or cause prolonged hurt.

It's not like he has never cut anyone before. He has never done so to hurt, but to help. He has cut bullets out of people before, out of Nezumi. This isn't the same, not at all but in a way it is exactly the same. It's only cutting, he can do that. The hand on his hand, even if he doubts there is any kindness meant, calms him and he nods, a determined look in his eyes.

"Okay." He nodded and tentatively, but without trembling reached with his free hand for Kavinsky's spare arm. "Ready?"

He asked as if he weren't the one who had cause this whole thing to take longer than it should have.
