"There was a realities-wide disease. It was sweeping through the different worlds and someone decided to put together a research station to try and find a cure. They came to Earth and asked if I'd go." Steve shrugged, enjoying telling the story in a clean way.

"Of course I volunteered. They stuck me on a ship and we traveled across time and space to what turned out to be an island. People from all over volunteered. Creatures too. It was amazing in many ways. The problems started when we met the head of the facility" He let the curiosity build for a few moments before continuing. It was almost as if they could hear a dun dun dun in the air, "He looked like a man on the top, but instead of legs he had . . . tentacles!"

Steve was having a ball!
