Someone gets sick, the doctor wants to know why right? Could be a dozen different reasons someone has a fever, and if you don't know what's causing it then it's probably just going to come back.

[Which is really as much of a non answer as it sounds. Natasha likes knowing. She doesn't imagine that Hell will be some kind of puzzle that opens up for her if she can just get to the bottom of its mysteries, but it's comforting to know what's happening and why.]
