Setsuna was long full, and had no argument to offer in being urged out. More than anything, Setsuna had to wonder if maybe he had kept Steve too long - he was the one who was done storytelling. There was a confused look given to Steve's hand and a brief, "Huh?" before Steve told him to give him a hug.

Setsuna smiled to that - familiar ground. Normally, he wouldn't hug someone so soon, but Steve had called him a friend, and seemed like a good guy. He wasn't even sure about leaving. The place was still new territory, he was still on edge, and even Steve's comment about "something safe" didn't help.

For now, Setsuna gave Steve a full, tight hug and muttered out, "Thank you, for the food. I really appreciate it." He left without much comment, just gave Steve a wave and a smile.

But leaving everything in Setsuna's easily distracted hands might be exactly why Steve didn't see the kid again until the Mares came.
