He walked Peter to the couch and gently pushed the boy down before he just fell over, or actually did pass out. Once Peter was sitting Steve went to the sink and got the kid some water, a poor substitute for a ticket back home but about the best he could offer. He still didn't feel right about offering minors alcohol and he didn't think Peter knew he could serve himself at the bar yet. No sense encouraging that kind of behavior.
He put the glass in Peter's hand and closed the boy's fingers around it, not letting go until he was sure it wouldn't be dropped.]
