[ The last time Tony had hugged Peter it had been in the aftermath of the first incubi attack on the hotel-- when Tony, violated, had given up on his dignity for the first time since arriving here and kicked off his downward spiral in earnest. What had happened to him was passable as a nightmare, he'd told himself; the real horror had been discovering that the same thing had happened to the kid and if Tony hadn't been messing around with James he might have found him sooner he might have stopped it he could have stopped it (why can he never stop it) but Peter's here now and-- Tony gets another chance?
