Dodger's eyes narrow, unsympathetically filing the information away for later. Despite appearances, the create in front of him is a hero type.. it's a little disappointing, all things considered.
His hearing is starting to get overtaken by the ringing in his head, and a few drops of blood fall from his nose to splatter onto the floor. It's starting to feel like a bad memory trip but much, much worse. It makes the process of searching for something to share somewhat harder... he still can't shake the thought that Augustine would kill him if he knew he was cracking under this sort of pressure.
By the time Dodger finally speaks, blood is spilling down into his mouth and down his chin.
"My-" He coughs, "-my family had a couple guard dogs, when I was growing up. Big rottweilers, chained out in the yard." The headache is starting to lessen, and he gains some momentum. "So one day, some idiot tried to jump the fence. Just some kid - eighteen, tops. By the time we found him, he'd just about had his arm ripped off. So my- the man that raised me... figured it was time I got some real world experience. I got the honor of shooting that kid in the head, before his crew cleaned up the site."
He decides not to mention how young he was, when it happened; he's said enough, and he's honestly shaken by the memory. It isn't the worst he's done, not by a long shot - but it lingers, as the moment he really lost some part of himself.
