There's an indignant noise when he's suddenly shoved up -- not pained, exactly, so he's probably not hurt, but he definitely wasn't expecting that. But he scrambles up onto the ledge of the hatch looking around cautiously.

"Um-- I don't know what I'm supposed to be doing up here really. My bad. Should have thought this out more." Look, the movies made this seem relatively easy. Or cooler than it actually looks.
