[ Klaus seems a little startled at Peter's reaction. It hadn't really occurred to him that people would remember dying. Okay, yes, so he remembered dying at least twice off the top of his head. But right before here, Five was doing something, and Klaus wasn't actually entirely sure what age he even was, but he was here seemingly in the same body he'd been in before. Was he dead? Who knows! Does it matter to him? Not especially!
What does matter is that this seemingly way-too-nice-for-hell kid remembers dying and is very distraught. Damnit, why does he have to deal with dead people in a weird context? ]
I'm not the only person I've met who didn't bite the big one, honestly. But you know, I'm not really the repenting type. I wasn't even the type who believed hell existed.
Did you seriously die?
[ He seems pretty serious with that last question. This kid is even younger than Ben. It seems pretty unfair, though of course Klaus knows people of all ages die all the time. ]
