Setsuna watches Link peer at the food, and he's personally not thinking about maggots, at least, not right then, but the other fruit have been difficult, to say the least.

"It's okay. That one. I ate a piece on the half I have," Setsuna tries to assure Link. He lifts the half he has, and even takes a bite right in front of Link, forcing himself to go slow. It's not easy, either, but he can't afford to lose this food.

Then it's his turn to just stare at Link curiously. "That's a long time to be in a shrine. What were you doing there?"

As for listening to his elders? Setsuna snorts. "Sure. If my elders make sense. But only then."
