Link takes the fruit that's handed to him and presses his fingers into the flesh. It does have more give than some of the less...palatable options. A knife on the table makes quick work of slicing the fruit in half, and he keeps his gaze very pointedly away from Setsuna as he works. Thankfully, the fruit neither bleeds nor has bugs falling out of it; he meticulously cuts the halves into neat slices and continues to avoid the kinder gaze that the other is offering him.

He only looks up when an arm is wrapped around his shoulders. Surprised, he doesn't pull away. Instead, with the angel's arm loosely around him, he offers a piece of the definitely-not-cursed fruit and a small smile.

"You're a good kid."

Link doesn't have an especially well-developed sense of humor, but this is most definitely a callback to his earlier remarks about listening to one's elders.
