Before he takes the fire circle away, the jar cooling in his hand again. He could leave the magical circle behind and keep that heat... but it's more entertaining to see the spirit struggle inside, unable to escape. "Problem solved. For now."
As for that question, "I have decided that it may be worth my time creating potions, considering this realm is limiting my access to my normal spells. However for that I need to gather ingredients to test what they do, since they are all foreign to me. Souls," Lucifer holding up the jar and trapped spirit within it, "Are such an ingredient, especially if it turns out these ones have a frost element to them."
