He tips over, seemingly in slow motion, and gradually she feels the tug of his falling body pulling at hers. The fear grows suddenly intense, and for a split second, she considers releasing his hand and letting him go by himself. She could be smart for once. She could have that damn self-preservation for once.
But what's the point of feeling nothing at all?
Breathing out, she digs her claws into his skin, and eyes closing, she allows herself to dive over with him into the abyss waiting below.
