[For the duration of Ramsay's absence, Peter simply parks himself in front of the window with a bottle of wine and watches the sea. It crashes and foams; rolls and surges, and Peter stares fixedly at it while taking slow sips of wine. It's easy to forget just where he is while watching the sea. Until Ramsay enters, that is, drawing him out of his reverie.

He turns his head just far enough to see Ramsay in his peripheral.]

That was fast.

[Probably. It's hard to gauge the passage of time when he gets lost in his own head.

He carefully sets his half-drunk bottle of wine and empty glass on the bedside table and rises to his feet, gesturing to the bathroom.]

I'm glad you approve. Now, you'll want a shower before you sleep. You know, to keep the bed clean.

[Mostly because Peter is also going to be sleeping in it. He'd rather it didn't smell.]
