A point when Juudai realizes that he can't take this back.

No one is coming to save him. His body remembers falling off the KaibaCorp building when Saiou had betrayed him, but even then, he had mitigated the fall by leaping into and out of several pieces of scaffolding. He had a ground he was trying to get to. Neos had broken the last several feet of his fall, and even then, he had dislocated his shoulder when he struck pavement. But he had been trying, straining to live.

Here, it feels like nothing. Only wind and air, and cold, surrounding and enfolding him. And the sensation of falling. And, most important of all, the sensation of hands holding his. Enfolding his tightly, even digging into his skin. He clutches tightly, too.

Maybe this will take him to another-another universe. Maybe this will be an underwhelming diversion, that they will splash and surface and be pulled back onboard.
